Macduff Ship Design Ltd use the latest in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software packages to produce all their construction, outfit and concept drawings for new builds and conversions.
The electronic images can be e-mailed in a variety of formats so minimal time is lost forwarding information to shipyards or owners. Concept designs can be developed into 3-dimensional drawings which can then be used to produce both photo realistic images or video which can add a new dimension to visualisation of the vessel and pre-completion marketing.
This approach ensures high levels of accuracy and clarity in all the drawings produced and allows for structural drawings to be developed into detailed designs then onto CNC cutting data.
