Macduff Ship Design Ltd has gained considerable experience with the building of new vessels. With this in mind, we can provide assistance to our clients on a project management basis. This role is not only being undertaken where our company has provided the vessel design, but we also act as project manager where the client has his own design. We have undertaken project management roles where we have assisted owners from initial concept through the tender process, including evaluation of the tender, yard and yard design and finally overseeing vessel construction and trials, culminating in the vessel hand over. Assistance to the owners through the guarantee period is also provided.

Our project management service is also available to clients for smaller projects other than full new builds, including feasibility studies for proposed new vessels and investigations into the most suitable type of vessel for a specific task.

As we are accredited to ISO 9001:2015, the project management documentation is easily controlled and monitored.
